Frequently asked questions

How long does a repair take?+

Most stone chip repairs take about 30 minutes on-site, from setup to cleanup. Crack repairs can take a bit longer depending on length.

Will the chip be completely invisible after repair?+

Not always. A good repair restores the structural integrity of the glass and dramatically improves the look — but you'll usually still see a faint mark where the damage was, especially on cracks. The goal is safety and stopping the damage from spreading, not a cosmetic finish.

What if my crack is too big to repair?+

Beyond about 14 inches — the industry's ROLAGS repairable limit — we'll tell you straight if we can fully restore the structural integrity.

Do you come to my workplace or a parking lot?+

Yes — home driveway, office parking lot, plaza lot, wherever the car will be sitting. We just need a reasonably level spot and a bit of space around the windshield.
